Silva
Iaponicarum
opens the second call for papers (the first call was issued in 2014 and
contributed papers are currently in the course of edition process) for
contributions to the special issue of the
quarterly, targeted at master’s degree students and Ph.D. candidates.
Papers from students specializing in Japanese studies and Japan-related
social studies who are planning to continue their research career are especially welcome. Silva
Iaponicarum is a peer-reviewed journal, and therefore having a paper
published in the special issue would be a valuable investment in a
young researcher’s career, possibly very helpful when applying for
various grants, fellowships or a Ph.D. course. We
also recommend that academic supervisors of potential contributors
encourage their students to participate in this special issue of Silva
Iaponicarum as well as supervise the upcoming papers. The
deadline for sending the contributions (in English language only) is
October 31, 2015. The length of the paper should not exceed 20 standard
size pages, including references (ca. 8,000 words).
Footnotes and references should comply with the Silva Iaponicarum editorial standards.
We ask you to send your papers directly to Stanislaw Meyer:
stan.meyer@uj.edu.pl. The required file format is MS Word (*.doc or
*.docx).Best regardsSilva Iaponicarum Editorial Board29 June 2015
